What Counts as a Valid Text Twist Word?
Text Twist accepts standard English words of three letters or more that can be built from the letters in your rack. It does not accept proper nouns (names of people, places or brands), abbreviations, acronyms, contractions, or hyphenated words. Plurals formed by adding an S are valid as long as your rack contains the S, and so are common verb forms ending in -ED, -ING, -ER and -EST. Our solver follows the same conventions: it draws only from a dictionary of ordinary lowercase English words, which is why it is such a reliable companion for the game.
One thing worth knowing is that different editions of Text Twist ship with slightly different dictionaries. A word that one version rejects, another may accept — particularly with short, obscure entries like QAT, ZAX, AIT or NTH.
